Ford vs Ferrari proved that motor racing themed movies can still be award-worthy when it lifted two Oscars ® for Best Sound Editing and Best Film Editing. No racing movie has done this since Grand Prix, 53 years ago!

The film won two categories out of four, losing out to Parasite in the Best Picture category and 1917 for Best Sound Mixing. It ranked in third place in terms of wins behind Parasite with four wins and 1917 with three wins.
