Ster-Kinekor Theatres (Pty) Ltd Competition Terms & Conditions 

The Ster-Kinekor Theatres “MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE - DEAD RECKONING PART ONE - BRING A FRIEND SK Club Campaign ("the promotion") is conducted by Ster-Kinekor Theatres (Pty). 

(Registration Number: 2018/ 482630/07 and VAT Registration number: 4010283770). 

These rules relating to the promotion comprise its official rules (the "rules"), together with official promotional communication by Ster-Kinekor Theatres, shall govern and apply to all participation and activity arising out of and relating to the promotion. Please take a moment to review these rules, which will govern all aspects of the promotion. These rules cannot be modified except by Ster-Kinekor Theatres, in its reasonable discretion, by a written revision to these rules posted on the Ster-Kinekor Theatres website, Facebook page and Twitter profile or, at Ster-Kinekor Theatres' sole discretion, other official promotional communication channels reasonably determined to reach a majority of potential participants. By participating in this campaign, all participants agree to be bound by these rules. Ster-Kinekor Theatres' decision regarding any matter arising out of the promotion shall be final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into. 

POPI Act 

Guests / Clients can be added to our mailing list. We use this mailing list to send guests / clients important information about our business, the services we offer, cinematic developments, news and event invitations. Anyone can also add themselves to our mailing list on our website. 

Guests / Clients can unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time which will result in us no longer marketing to those who have unsubscribed. We include a link in every marketing communication allowing guests to unsubscribe from marketing communication, an email can also be sent to us in order to be removed from our mailing list.  

We may still contact guests in other instances, such as while providing guests with services or to collect outstanding fees. In these instances, the relevant practitioner will contact guests directly and not through the mailing list. 

Participation 

1. The promotion is open to legal residents of South Africa only. 

2. The campaign initiates on 30 August and ends on 3 September 2023. 

3. The promotion is only open to select SK Club members including its affiliated club group namely SK VIP members, Fan Club members, MORvies Club members.  

Entries 

In order to receive the promotional offering, members must follow the below process:    

1. Book for MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE - DEAD RECKONING PART ONE on the Ster-Kinekor website, SK App, through Ticket Line or at the self-service terminals in the cinema, using your SK Club (and its affiliated club groups namely SK VIP, Fan Club, MORvies Club) membership number, at either Ster-Kinekor Gateway, Mall of Africa or the V&A Waterfront  in South Africa to redeem the promotional offering. 

2. Irrespective of the date that the movie is booked, the redemption of the complimentary ticket (aligned to the MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – DEAD RECKONING PART ONE) can only be done during the campaign period. 

The Promotional Offering 

1. When purchasing a MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE - DEAD RECKONING PART ONE ticket with your SK Club membership number, an additional complimentary 2D movie ticket will be added to your profile. 

2. The complimentary ticket redemption cannot be made on an IMAX, Cine Prestige, NT Live, DBox or 3D movie.  

3. The complimentary ticket is only valid if used together with the purchased MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE - DEAD RECKONING PART ONE movie ticket and can only be redeemed for MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE - DEAD RECKONING PART ONE on the same date and time that the SK Club member has made the ticket purchase for. 

4. If the complimentary ticket isn’t redeemed within the campaign period and according to the rules set herein, then the ticket will be forfeited without recourse. 

5. The promotion is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash unless Ster-Kinekor Theatres cannot provide the promotional offering for whatever reason, in which case the promotion offered, at the discretion of Ster-Kinekor Theatres, will be of equal monetary value to the ticket.  

6. To the extent that Ster-Kinekor / the promoters collect and processes the participant’s personal information, Ster-Kinekor / the promoters warrants that such processing shall be in accordance with the provisions of the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 & shall not be disclosed to any third party without the participants written consent.
