The Story: Friendship, Forgiveness, and the Fight for Oz

The story begins with Elphaba and Glinda estranged, both living with the choices that changed Oz forever. Elphaba, now feared as the Wicked Witch of the West, hides deep within the forest, still fighting for the freedom of Oz’s silenced Animals and seeking to expose the Wizard’s deceit. Glinda, now the radiant face of “Goodness,” basks in fame and power at the Emerald City under the careful guidance of Madame Morrible. But when destiny calls and a girl from Kansas drops into their fractured world, the two must face the truth, about themselves, their friendship, and the price of doing what’s right.
