BLACK FRIDAY 2025 TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1.     By participating in the Black Friday 2025 Promotion (“the Promotion”), the participant agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions below applicable to this Promotion (“Rules”).
2.   A copy of these Rules are available online at www.sterkinekor.com (“Website”). 
3.  By participating in the Promotion, you confirm your acceptance of these Rules.
4. 1.    Ster Kinekor Theatres Proprietary Limited and/or its agencies (collectively, the ″Organisers″) may in their sole discretion amend these Rules at any time, without notice, and such amendment(s) shall be deemed to have taken effect from the date of publication of the revised Rules on the Website The Organisers interpretation of the Rules will be final and binding on the participant.
5.      The promoter is Ster Kinekor Theatres Proprietary Limited, a company with limited liability incorporated in accordance with the company laws of the Republic of South Africa (registration number 2018/482630/07), as well as its subsidiaries Ster-Kinekor Zambia Limited (‘Ster Kinekor Zambia”)  (registration number 120030053608), incorporated under the laws of the Republic of Zambia, and Ster Kinekor Theatres (Namibia) (Pty) Ltd (“Ster Kinekor Namibia”) (registration number 2023/0653), incorporated under the laws of the Republic of Namibia, (collectively referred to as “Ster Kinekor”).
6.    To the extent that Ster Kinekor collects and processes the participant’s personal information, Ster Kinekor warrants that such processing shall be in accordance with the provisions of the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 and shall not be disclosed to any third party without the participants written consent.
7.   The Promotion is valid exclusively on Friday, 28 November 2025 (²Promotion Period²). Pre-booking for the Promotion will open at 15:00 on Monday, 24 November 2025, and will be available via the Ster Kinekor website, SK App and at participating Ster Kinekor cinemas. This promotion applies to Ster Kinekor cinemas located in South Africa, Namibia (Maerua, The Grove) and Zambia (Manda Hill).
8.   This Promotion excludes all Ster Kinekor cinemas located in Zimbabwe. It applies only to Ster Kinekor cinemas in South Africa, Namibia (Maerua, The Grove), and Zambia (Manda Hill) as specified in Clause 7.
9. .    No sales under the Promotion will be permitted after 23h59 on Friday 28 November 2025. No sales received after the Promotion closes will be considered and any sales received after this date will not qualify for the discount.
10.    Each entrant represents and warrants that by entering in or participating in the Promotion, he/she has full eligibility to do so.  The Organisers reserve the right to request proof that entrants have met any or all of these eligibility requirements.
11.     Eligible participants may purchase the Black Friday 2025 promotion:    
12.      Ster Kinekor South Africa eligible participants can purchase a 2D or 3D movie ticket together with a 500ml soda/slush and small popcorn for R99 for all movies currently showing on the Ster Kinekor circuit. This excludes movie tickets for IMAX, Cine Prestige, D-Box cinemas, loyalty partners, Film Festivals, Opera and National Theatre Live in South Africa       
13.       Ster Kinekor Namibia eligible participants can purchase a 2D or 3D movie ticket together with a 500ml soda/slush and small popcorn for N$99. This excludes movie tickets for loyalty partners and Film Festivals.      
14.      Ster Kinekor Zambia eligible participants can purchase a 2D or 3D movie ticket together with a 500ml soda/slush and small popcorn for K99. This excludes movie tickets for Cine Prestige, loyalty partners and Film Festivals.      
15.     The Promotion excludes IMAX, Cine Prestige, D-BOX, SKX-Perience, and any other premium format cinemas, as well as loyalty partner offers, film festivals, The Met Opera, and National Theatre Live screenings.      
16.       The Promotion is not open for purchase using the SK Club, Discovery Vitality and / or Edgars Club cards. 
17.   Edgars Club members benefits shall remain valid in accordance with the existing program terms and conditions for IMAX and Cine Prestige movie ticket purchases. Members may purchase the Promotion bundle deal for R99.00. Only valid in South Africa.    
18. All Discovery Vitality benefits shall remain valid in accordance with the existing program terms and conditions; members may purchase the Promotion bundle deal for R99.00. Only valid in South Africa.
19.   SK Club members will continue to get SK Club Points on qualifying purchases for the Promotion.      
20.   The Promotion will include the option for Subscription Club members in South Africa to redeem their vouchers. Eligible members may redeem their movie vouchers as usual on Friday, 28 November 2025. Members may elect to redeem their movie ticket voucher only or redeem it together with the standard discounted Subscription Club combo. Where no vouchers are available, members may purchase the Promotion bundle deal for R99.00. Only valid in South Africa.
21. The Promotion will include the option for Pick n Pay Smart Shopper members in South Africa to redeem their converted Smart Shopper points for Ster Kinekor movie vouchers as usual on Friday, 28 November 2025. Members may elect to redeem their movie ticket voucher only. Where no vouchers are available, members may purchase the Promotion bundle deal for R99.00. Only valid in South Africa.  
22.     The Promotion will include the option for eBucks members to redeem their Ster Kinekor vouchers purchased through the eBucks rewards program. Eligible members may redeem their movie vouchers as usual on Friday, 28 November 2025. Members may elect to redeem their movie ticket voucher only. Where no vouchers are available, members may purchase the Promotion bundle deal for R99.00. Only valid in South Africa.
23.     The Promotion will include the option for Vodacom customers to redeem their Ster Kinekor movie vouchers purchased through Vodacom’s platform. Eligible members may redeem their movie vouchers as usual on Friday, 28 November 2025. Members may elect to redeem their movie ticket voucher only. Where no vouchers are available, members may purchase the Promotion bundle deal for R99.00. Only valid in South Africa.   
24.     The Promotion is not applicable to discounted or promotional ticket prices.      
25.   During the Promotion Period, increased demand may lead to temporary technical issues, delays in transaction processing, or shortages of certain concession items, including limited beverage flavours and popcorn varieties. While Ster Kinekor strives to maintain platform stability and sufficient stock levels, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service or availability of specific concessions throughout the event. Ster Kinekor disclaim liability for any inconvenience or loss arising from these issues. Participants are encouraged to reach out to our support team for assistance or clarification in such cases.
26.       STER KINEKOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO TERMINATE THE PROMOTION AT ANY TIME WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT.  IF THIS IS THE CASE, STER KINEKOR WILL PROVIDE NOTICE ON ITS WEBSITE AND IT SHALL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF PARTICIPANTS TO REVIEW SUCH WEBSITE IN THIS RESPECT.  IN SUCH EVENT, ALL PARTICIPANTS HEREBY WAIVE ANY RIGHTS WHICH THEY MAY HAVE AGAINST STER KINEKOR AND ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THEY WILL HAVE NO RECOURSE OR CLAIM OF ANY NATURE AGAINST STER-KINEKOR.
27.    The duration of the Promotion may also be extended or curtailed at the sole discretion of Ster-Kinekor.  If this is the case, Ster Kinekor will provide notice of this on the Website.
