Kieran a reality Tv star gets a call from his beloved but long lost cousin Anushka, that is about to turn his life upside down. Anushka is a fashion designer in London, suddenly announces to Kieran over a phone call that she will be coming down to Durban to get married to the Love of her life and demands that Kieran has to organise her wedding in 3 weeks’ time. The only issue is that nobody has ever seen or heard of the groom to be, that Anushka is calling the Love of her life.
Kieran however loves a challenge and will do anything it takes to please his beloved cousin and hopefully rebuild their once close bond that has strained due to them living in different countries. The movie takes a twist when Kieran realises that Anushka is marrying an African man . This leaves Kieran in a state of panic as he has spent the last three weeks frantically planning an elaborate Indian wedding only to find out that the groom is not Indian…but the real drama arises when Kieran meets Anushka’s groom for the first time at the mehndi ceremony and realises that the secret groom that Anushka has been going on about, is someone that has caused him a lot of pain in his life.
Kieran is left devasted and has to make a painstaking decision of either keeping quiet and letting his cousin have her fairytale wedding knowing that if she does marry this man, she will be making the biggest mistake of her life….or Make the decision to stop his cousins wedding and in the process destroy any hope of rebuilding a relationship again between the both of them.
